About Us
Fylde Coast Cricket Coaching was launched in May 2019 by Directors Bobby Denning (ECB Level 4) and Danny Gilbert (ECB Level 3). Having grown up and played junior cricket in the area, both Bobby and Danny recognised the need for specialised coaching and Fylde Coast Cricket Coaching has been created to fill that void.
Our aim is to provide opportunities for junior and senior cricketers to access high quality cricket coaching all year round. Through our extensive combined coaching experience of over 40 years from Club to International level, we develop players by providing enjoyable and holistically enhancing programmes, covering all aspects of the game whether in the UK or Overseas.

- Winter Group Coaching, typically for 8-10 weeks pre and post season

OUR SERVICES
1-to-1 coaching sessions
1-to-1 sessions are a great choice to improve your all round performance on a individual basis with one of our coaches, whether you are a Junior or Senior player. We can work on all areas including; batting, bowling, fielding and wicket keeping. We also focus on the technical, tactical, physical and mental sides of the game.
Winter Courses
At Fylde Coast Cricket Coaching, we always have the player at the forefront of our coaching. Covering technical, tactical, physical and mental aspects of the game, our winter courses go way beyond just on course support. To suit the individual, we provide every participant with player profiles, video analysis and scheduled feedback time.
We pride ourselves on our ongoing support away from the course, by including parents and other interested parties in this process.
Fylde Coast Cricket CUBS
Fylde Coast Cricket Cubs, has been created to provide children (2.5 - 6 Years) with a fantastic opportunity to experience cricket in a safe and nurturing environment whilst getting active, learning and developing new skills but most importantly, having FUN!!
We have split the ages into groups to ensure suitability and progression:
THE LITTLE CUBS (2.5 - 4 Years)
THE BIG CUBS (4.5 - 6 Years)
The sessions themselves are currently being run at Weeton Village Hall, lasting
approximately 40 minutes, with time to play and settle in. We are also including a 'Cubs Zone' where they can at any point, take a break, play with some toys, read a book or perhaps some drawings which adds to the FCC CUBS experience!
Summer Camps

Schools Coaching Programme
Our Primary and Secondary Schools coaching programme not only ensures a quality cricket experience but also support for school staff. Delivered by experienced and trained schools cricket coaches, the programme can be delivered during curriculum time or extra curricular.
With our extensive cricket development experience, we will also assist the school in linking into other local opportunities including links with the local cricket club network.
Coach Development
The Coaches at Fylde Coast Cricket Coaching have a wealth of experience working at Club, County and National level in the UK and overseas.
We firmly believe that Coach Development and support is as equally important to our game and other sports, along with our focus on players.
Our two hour workshop, at an indoor location of your choosing, will see FCCC Staff, deliver an interactive session-covering the fundamentals of batting / bowling / fielding and wicket keeping, drills to work on these fundamentals, along with ideas around equipment to use.
This will not only reinforce existing knowledge but provide additional information and ideas for your coaches to take-away.

Advanced Junior Player Programme
Fylde Coast Cricket Coaching prides itself on its commitment to developing players.
Our “Advanced Junior Player Coaching Programme” is designed for advanced players within a club, being selected to receive holistic coaching from our Level 3 and 4 coaches.
Relevant club coaches will be invited by Fylde Coast Cricket Coaching to join the sessions and individual feedback, footage and future plans for the player will be passed to the club on completion of the programme. The programme including costings will be agreed during the initial planning meeting to design this very much bespoke programme for your Club. The programme can run during the winter or summer and be individual or small group sessions.
Facilitated Senior and Junior Practice
Fylde Coast Cricket Coaching has extensive experience of running structured, relevant and holistic practice sessions for Senior and Junior cricketers.
Bored of netting / queuing up to bowl with ten minutes catching at the end? We have the experience to make your Senior and Junior practice time well spent, delivered by our Level 3 and 4 Coaches. The programme including costings will be agreed during the initial discussion, to design this very much bespoke programme for your Club.

Match Day Coaching & Preparation
Another product Fylde Coast Cricket Coaching offers is Match Day Coaching and preparation.
This offer comprises of a training session ideally the evening before a game, a facilitated team talk setting out objectives and targets for the following days play, along with our Coach working with the squad from start to finish on Match Day.
Having worked up and down the Country with a number of Senior Teams and Junior Teams, we know this offer works.
