After months of preparation, phone calls and emails sent, last month we were delighted to finally reveal that Fylde Coast Cricket Coaching (FCCC) will be touring to Barbados in October 2022! The response to the trip has been fantastic and clearly there is a lot of excitement around such a tour.

We wanted to provide even greater learning opportunities and experiences that would last a lifetime for our FCCC players and we thought there was no better way than the chance to play cricket overseas. There is nothing quite like the game itself, and the players in attendance will experience up to 5 games (minimum of 4) during a 10 night stay against local teams from the island.
There will also be ample opportunity for the players and their families to explore what Barbados has to offer, or to just simply relax during the non-match days. However, the learning won't be limited to just match days, as we build in time to review the games and gain an understanding on what we did well and areas in which we can develop as a group and individually. The chance to play on different surfaces and in different conditions will also provide a stern test holistically for the players, which only adds to the experience and challenges they will face.
Although learning and developing is a key component of this tour, it is so important that the players and the rest of the touring party enjoy and embrace this experience. It is not everyday you get to play cricket in the Caribbean!
This will be the start of a regular offering from FCCC, that provide opportunities for players to experience playing cricket all around the globe? But for now, "we are heading to Barbados!!"
